In 2005, Robert Shipman founded Haute Soiree, a special events firm that not only pays homage to his life long love of entertaining, but also celebrates the grace, beauty, and elegance of special moments that are milestones in peoples lives.
A Native Texan, Robert was raised in a family that continually entertained friends and family. His grandmother is a leading force behind his desire to be a gracious host to all. Her love of good food, family, and great times together have encouraged him to continue this tradition and share his talents with others. Robert began his professional career in special events in 2001. When he joined an event Production Company, as a consultant, his passion for producing high quality soirees blossomed. From there, his journey led him to Miami, Florida where he furthered his experiences in the special events industry.
In the fall of 2005, Robert acknowledged his inner entrepreneurial instincts and decided to return to Texas and launch Haute Soiree. Since its inception, Haute Soiree, and its team of talented event professionals have helped many clients realize their hopes and dreams.
Robert is an active member in the Houston Community and participates with several local charities in their fundraising efforts and is an active board member for N.A.C.E.; National Association of Catering Executives.
